Casey Anthony looks at prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick during a hearing
Casey Anthony faces murder charges in the death of her daughter Caylee.
Some of these motions are:
1. Jail visitations remain part of public record. (The Judge did not think it was right to override jail rules of being able to tape inmates.)
2. State doesn’t have to disclose full list of why the seek Death Penalty charge. (It is clear that in this case a child has died and the circumstances warrant the option for the death penalty.)
3. Forensic Discovery-Prosecutors do not have to provide forensic evidence from lab. (The defense can obtain this evidence on their own.)
Many are happy to see that Judge Belvin Perry is not fooling around and caving to pure pressure by the defense to take the Death Penalty option off the table. It is said that he is a no nonsense kind of Judge and I think the defense team is starting to realize that. As it stands Casey Anthony may still face death by lethal injection for the murder of her daughter Caylee.
I don’t think Casey has to much to smile about these days.
