New 2009 Nissan Skyline GTR R35 Test Run @ Race Track
2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R: The most eagerly anticipated new performance car of the century
Brakes: Brembo 4 Wheel Disc
Differential: 1.5 Way Mechanical Limited Slip
Final Drive Rati: 3.70:1
Layout: Front Engine, AWD
Transmission: 6 Speed DSG Manual
Engine: 3.8 liters Twin Turbo 24V V6
Horsepower: 480 hp @ 6400 rpm
Torque: 430 ft-lbs. @ 3200 rpm
Acceleration: 0 to 60mph in 3.3 sec
Born from a long line of Skyline GT-Rs dating back to 1969, this latest version — "R35" to the hard-core — promises to pack more turbocharged power, more all-wheel-drive technology and more sheer speed than any Japanese car ever to come to America.
For six years the 2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R has been the subject of intense rumors and frenzied speculation. Frequent sightings of GT-R test mules help fuel the excitement. We've caught GT-R prototypes on the streets of L.A. and the Nürburgring test track in Germany. Nissan's engineers also made a trip to a couple California racetracks, bringing the GT-R to both Laguna Seca and Sears Point.
Why is this car followed so closely? Because the Skyline GT-R R35 is expected to be the ne plus ultra of Japanese performance machinery
The original Nissan Skyline GT-R
might have hit the street in 1969, but it wasn't until 1990 that the GT-R legend would be solidified. That was the year the Skyline GT-R was introduced to an utterly stunned Japanese market. It was the first of three twin-turbocharged, all-wheel-drive and all-wheel-steering Skylines (R32, R33 and R34) and it's the generation upon which the Skyline GT-R legend rests.
Though the R34 left production after the 2003 model year, it was so beloved that Nissan's Nismo division actually bought 20 used Skyline GT-R R34 V-Spec models during 2005 and completely rebuilt them into what is currently considered the greatest GT-R of them all — the $170,000, 500-horsepower Skyline GT-R Z-Tune.
So prominent had the Nissan Skyline GT-R become that in 2003's 2 Fast 2 Furious, the film's hero drove and raced one through the streets of Miami. And the actor Paul Walker, who played the role, bought his own and modified it.

Dodge Demon concept
If you're looking for an affordable ragtop, car check out the Dodge Demon Concept It is easily impressed by the gaze of the Dodge Demon concept, and the words "no-brainer" are often expressed, if fans to discuss, if the vehicle is actually on the market. Even if it seems that any other vehicle manufacturer requires a two-seater at the moment, we can not help but think there's room for Dodge Viper mini-views breathtaking. For now, but what we have is the concept.
When we had the chance to choose among six Chrysler concepts, we did not hesitate, single out the Demon. A roadster a beautiful summer morning, as always, seems a good choice, and considering the critical praise of the Demon has received, we wanted to see how the baby feels close to this production. Now the bad news is that this is a very, very long way to go. The measuring instruments do not work, the chassis is jarring Go-Kart, and the doors feel like they are in the lead. In other words, it is a concept that has not always been driven to be, but how lucky we are behind the wheel each time
The Dodge Demon Concept Car weighs about 250 kg less than the Pontiac Solstice. It uses a 2.4 liter 172-hp motor placed on the rear wheels by a six-speed manual transmission, for fun, but not Supercar performance. The objective of this course is about $ 21000, just as in the GM-roadster, but over time, that perhaps an increase of $ GTI-like 23000th The same basic chassis can be used for hatchbacks (Europe), limousines and other vehicles, a sedan or Luke version has been reported as a separate class and the China-car. The cabin is practical and useful, especially for what appears to be ready for production dashboard. The Concept Car Viper itself uses a rear suspension with a calibre of front suspension, but a little more SLK-like is without doubt a provision in production
The doors of the permanent function, vertical grab handles, bind them into a box of silver bezel chrome door remote control. The lower part of each house has a brushed aluminum bezel that encapsulates the elegant big round loudspeakers coverage, then drops sharply as it moves back to the map pocket outer panel, mimicking a function mainly on the car outside.
The Dodge Demon's hold feature contoured seat cushions, only a sufficiently high level, assistance in turns, but not prevent the infiltration or exit. Set in exposed low-gloss Hulls carbon fiber, black seats with integrated headrests adds function of the texture, "momentum" canvas cushions hold on canvas, with sewing lines accented silver thread. The brushed aluminum and carbon fibre-roll bars are located directly behind the bucket seats. The headquarters of long rails, there is a memory behind the seats. Extra Storage covered in the bulkhead between the seats.

Warlock & True Spirit
The Dodge Warlock, originally a concept vehicle and part of Dodge's late 1970s "adult toys" line, is a short wheelbase truck that was produced in limited production in 1976 and regular production from 1977 to 1979 under the Dodge name brand by the Chrysler Corporation, later known as DaimlerChrysler. They were available in 4x2 and 4x4 models and offered only in black, red, orange or green. Its main draw was that it was a factory customizable truck, also known as a "trick truck", and was designed to appeal to young 4x4 buyers. The 1979 model is different in that it has "Warlock II" printed on the tailgate.
While the Street Van's release was getting underway it seemed that something else had also been quietly in the works at Dodge. In fact two new trucks, the Warlock and the True Spirit had already been shipped to Dodge dealers in the San Francisco and Los Angeles areas to test the response of young buyers. These new trucks with their sporty look quickly gained the attention of old and young buyers alike.
It seemed that owning a factory customized pickup had become as much a status symbol with some adults as owning a big luxury car. Soon Dodge realized that it was the Warlock that seemed to grab the most attention and so on June 11,1976 R.H. Kline announced to the press that Dodge would immediately release their newest addition to its Adult Toys series, calling it the Warlock.
